The phrase the ayes have it, is still used in the British parliament to indicate that those who agree are in the majority. If there is doubt, the members of parliament must walk into one of two corridors and be counted. They mingle, congregate and chat in these corridors and this design might be a bird’s eye view of this. Or, as someone suggested, perhaps it’s simply a collection of eyes. Shall we vote on it?
